It's OK to ask for help. It's OK to break down and cry. It's OK to be scared. It's OK to say no. It's OK to take a day off to be alone or spend time in nature. It's OK to take care of yourself and tell someone when you need them. It's OK to be hurting. It's OK not to be OK.
Once you let go of the societal construct that is “normal,” you can find freedom and joy in who you truly are. You can let go of the shame that comes with being labeled “different.” You can embrace the things that make you who you are, and know that sometimes the unique parts are some of the best.
